Mirfield's Matilda takes her petition to No 10

CAMPAIGNING mum Kate Fisher has taken her protests to the top.

The Mirfield mum was joined by daughter Matilda at No 10 Downing Street to highlight the need for more help for ill children.

Matilda suffers from brachycephaly, commonly known as ‘flat head syndrome’, and needs to wear a special helmet.

Kate, 22, and Matilda met local MP Shahid Malik to deliver their petition to Downing Street in order to raise awareness of the condition.

The petition of around 7,400 signatures was designed to “raise awareness and help make a difference to other children”.

Mr Malik was full of praise for Kate and the work that she has done.
