Pop star Liz is latest to join up to Sudders' campaign

BONE marrow donors signed up at a clinic held as part of a new Sky TV show, all inspired by former Examiner journalist, the late Adrian Sudbury.
The Anthony Nolan Trust, which runs one of the UK’s two bone marrow donor registers, held a clinic at the Examiner’s sister paper, the Liverpool Echo, yesterday to sign up more donors.
A number of donors put their names on the register to become bone marrow donors.
Former Atomic Kitten pop star Liz McLarnon helped to recruit donors.
The 27-year-old singer – the same age as Adrian when he died two weeks ago – hit the streets of Liverpool to let people know about bone marrow donation and get them to go along to the Echo offices on Old Hall Street.
