Advice day for firms on new foreign workers guidelines

BUSINESSES which employ or plan to employ people from outside the UK can go to a free Huddersfield workshop to get to grips with the rules and issues involved.

The event will take place from 8am to 11am on Tuesday, September 23, at the Textile Centre, Red Doles Lane.

It is being organised jointly by Enterprise Europe Yorkshire and the Kirklees Business Partnership.

The aim is to provide a down-to-earth guide for firms who want to solve vital skills shortages and to make sure they get it right.
