Stage one of centre revamp completed

STAFF at Colne Valley Leisure Centre showed off the latest of the centre’s £1.8million refurbishments to the public.

The centre, in Slaithwaite, is undergoing a two stage revamp.

Stage one, which has been completed, covers the sports hall, function suite, gym and spectators gallery.

The “wetside” of the centre will be refurbished in stage two and will be finished when the centre reopens in January 2009.
