Busy hilltop road to shut
A BUSY road is to closed for three weeks for vital repairs.
It will mean long detours for drivers travelling between Meltham and Marsden.
The B6107 Chain Road has to be resurfaced and engineers will need to close the road starting from Saturday, September 20.
Almost two miles of worn-out road is to be resurfaced between Marsden and Varley Road.
The work should take about three weeks weather permitting and will start at the Manchester Road end.
