Probe into Halifax Road car dealership blaze

SEVERAL cars were damaged in a blaze at a Huddersfield compound.

The fire was at Bella Cars in Halifax Road, Birchencliffe, and was discovered at 10.22pm last night.

Fire crews from Huddersfield found three cars on fire.

Two of the vehicles, a Range Rover and a Volvo, were badly damaged and there was also damage to a Renault Modus.

Firefighters stopped the blaze spreading to two Mercedes cars nearby.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
