DEADLY opium has been seized in Huddersfield, disguised as sweets.
Now detectives are warning people to be on their guard in case the drugs fall into the hands of young children.
There has been a sudden increase in the amount of opium seized in West Yorkshire in recent weeks.
And in one case, drugs squad officers recovered 27 kilograms of the Class A drug from the Leeds and Huddersfield areas, with some of the drugs disguised as sweets.
One of the seizures was in Dalton.
