A POST mortem is being held this weekend on the body of a man found dead in a burning car. The grim discovery was made by firefighters called to the Ford Mondeo on an isolated track between Lower Denby and Penistone at 1.30pm on Tuesday. The track off Broad Oak Lane at Ingbirchworth is not far from the A635 road that links Denby Dale and Cawthorne. The spot is in South Yorkshire, and the man, whose identity is yet to be confirmed, is believed to be from there. Fire crews from the county quickly extinguished the flames which were confined to the car’s interior. The death is not being treated as suspicious. Read
