GPs open longer for patients

The Department of Health says 40.5% of practices in Yorkshire are now offering extended opening hours.

Nationally, 46.7% of practices were opening longer, compared to 38.2% in July.

Opening hours vary between different practices, and patients are advised to contact their own surgery for more details.

Health chiefs hope to have a complete list of opening hours by early October.
