Join peace day at temple

A DAY of peace will be held at the Huddersfield Hindu Temple for people of all faiths.

The event will include yoga, prayer and the chance to light a candle to mark the international day of peace.

Formed by the United Nations in 1982, the international peace day aims to strengthen the ideals of peace.

The Zetland Street temple will hold the event on Sunday, September 21, starting at 11.30am.

People of all faiths are invited along to support the day.
