A CROSLAND Moor man threw a glass which hit a barmaid during a drunken night out.
Whahid Yhihid had been drinking when he followed the woman outside The Bridge pub and threw the glass after she asked to be left alone.
The incident happened on July 30 at the Longroyd Bridge pub.
Yhihid, 28, of Manchester Road, Crosland Moor, pleaded guilty to the offence.
He reappeared before Huddersfield magistrates yesterday for sentencing.
Nigel Hamilton, prosecuting, said: “He was at a birthday party where there were free drinks.
“The bar worker was taking a cigarette break when the defendant followed her outside, sat next to her and asked her for a light.
“She told him to leave her alone, he then started swearing and pushed her and she was struck on the bench.
