All smiles at heritage day
VOLUNTEERS organised a heritage day at an historic Huddersfield park.
The Friends of Beaumont Park held the event at the 29-acre venue.
Crosland Moor-based War of the Roses re-enactment group Clarence House performed at the heritage day, as did the band Pennine Brass.
The event included a display of paintings by Huddersfield Art Society and the Woodcutters Association.
There were vintage roundabouts, donkey rides and a Punch and Judy show for younger visitors.
The Friends of Beaumont Park is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. It works with Kirklees Council to restore the park, which was opened in 1883.
