Man, 29, tells how he was stabbed 3 times
A MAN stabbed three times on a night out with his family talked today of his ordeal.
Richard Senior, 29, suffered three stab wounds after clashing with a gang of youths in a Honley takeaway shop on Saturday night.
Less than a minute after leaving the Honley Spice takeaway in Westgate, he was attacked by three youths, two of them wearing balaclavas and carrying weapons, thought to be screwdrivers.
Mr Senior, who had been on an evening out with his wife and friends at Honley Socialist club, was stabbed three times.
“I was very lucky. One of the attacks hit my ribs, a second went into my side and the third caught my leg muscle.
“It was terrifying. I had gone into the takeaway to get some food and got into an argument with a group of boys and girls, probably only about 15.
“They were hurling abuse at me but I just walked away. I was on my way back to the club in Jaggar Lane when they came up and attacked me. Two of them came at me with weapons, which I think were screwdrivers, and the others stood and watched.
