Survey says local Labour MPs face sack by voters

VOTERS around Huddersfield intend to kick out their Labour MPs at the next election, a massive new poll shows.
The survey of 35,000 people nationwide predicts a massive Conservative landslide.
The poll indicates that five of the six Labour MPs around Huddersfield would be swept from office.
The survey, on the website PoliticsHome.com, predicts a Conservative majority of 146, with more than half of Labour MPs losing their seats.
Among the casualties would be Colne Valley MP Kali Mountford, Shahid Malik of Dewsbury, Wakefield MP Mary Creagh and Mike Wood of Batley and Spen.
The poll also suggests that Labour would lose Calder Valley, where sitting MP Chris McCafferty is stepping down at the next election.
The only local Labour MP who looks safe is Huddersfield’s Barry Sheerman.
