Adrian Sudbury's Baldy's Book ready to go

COPIES of Baldy’s Book have arrived at the Examiner office – and will be on sale from Monday.

The book is a collection of blog posts by Examiner journalist Adrian Sudbury, 27, who died from leukaemia on August 20.

He had battled the disease for 18 months and – in the last few months of his life – launched the Sign Up For Sudders campaign to raise awareness about the need for more bone marrow donors.

Adrian started his online diary, Baldy’s Blog, after he was diagnosed with leukaemia in November 2006.

His honest, humorous writing style ensured the blog picked up a huge internet following – as well as a clutch of journalistic awards.

Now, all of the blog posts have been collated in Baldy’s Book, along with personal photographs of Adrian.

All profits from the sale of the books will go to the Anthony Nolan Trust, the charity which runs one of the UK’s two bone marrow donor registers.
