Mum gives birth after hospital turn her away and say 'take a bath'

“But as we were driving down Woodhouse Hill at Fartown I knew it was too late. My dad pulled off the road to Fartown Health Centre and the staff there were wonderful.

“They whisked me inside and within 15 minutes Molly Mai was born, weighing in at 8lb 3oz. It was 1.06pm, three hours after I’d arrived at the Infirmary.”

Kirstie is now enjoying life at home in with Molly Mai, her partner, Brendan Landers, 22, and Brogan.

Her mother, Rosie Lynch, who runs The Armitage Arms pub in Bay Hall, Birkby, said: “I can’t thank the health centre staff enough.

“They were wonderful.”
