STUDENTS at Fartown High School turned their thoughts to Burma during the Islamic month of Ramadan.
They organised several charity events in aid of the charity Islamic Relief.
They were held during Ramadan, the Islamic month of fasting and giving to those who are less fortunate. It culminated with the festival of Eid last week.
The school head of community cohesion Mohammed Lone said: “The students worked hard and raised about £200.”
