THE Strictly Come Dancing bug has spread to a Huddersfield working men’s club.

Champion dancer Ronald Jager is taking his teaching talents to Yorkshire.

Five times Dutch champion Ronald, 32, and partner Jenny Sheeran, 30, have started salsa, tango, ballroom, swing and other dance classes at Deighton WMC and St Patrick’s Catholic Centre on Trinity Street in Huddersfield town centre.

Ronald and Jenny won numerous titles between 1999 and 2003, including a top three ranking in England and a top 24 ranking in the World Grand Slams.

The two have also appeared on ITV’s hit detective series A Touch of Frost and ITV drama The Last Detective.

The couple retired from competing in 2003 and founded Jager’s Dance School in Oldham. The school now runs classes across Manchester and Cheshire.
