Finalist Claire aiming for TV contest stardom

A MUM-OF-FOUR has reached the finals of a TV search to find Britain’s next big business idea.

Claire O’Connor, 35, beat thousands of other hopefuls to become one of 12 finalists in This Morning’s Mumpreneur competition which begins on Monday.

The contest invited mums with new businesses or inventions to pitch their ideas to a panel of experts, including The Apprentice winner Tim Campbell.

The winner will receive £5,000.

Claire, of Greetland, impressed judges in the Manchester heats with her revolutionary song and dance academy concept, called babyballet.

With its fresh, funky and exciting ethos – along with Claire and the team’s passion to revolutionise the dance world – babyballet aims to get children everywhere dancing.

Claire will appear on the live show on Monday, but will have only 30 seconds to explain her concept and win the nation’s vote in order to go through to the final showdown.

She will appear along with two other finalists from the northern heat, with the winner from each day going through to Friday’s final.
