Running machine catches fire - as woman jogs on it

A RUNNING machine caught fire – as a woman was on it.

The middle-aged woman was on the machine at her home on Lightridge Road in Fixby when smoke started to pour from it at 6.30pm on Saturday.

She jumped off and alerted firefighters.

The fire badly damaged a small room used as a gym in her garage and smoke-logged the downstairs.
