Youngsters go back to the days of Victoria

PUPILS stepped back into the past to enjoy some seaside fun.

The Form 1 students from The Mount School at Edgerton looked at what holidays were like in the Victorian period when their classroom was transformed into a beach resort from the past.

They had fun dressing up in Victorian beachwear and trying out a life-size Punch and Judy show. The students also played with toys from the period.

The workshop was led by Kirsty Garside, a professional toy-maker and collector, who runs a series of toy workshops for schools.
