'Quiet man' accused of murder

MURDER accused James Spencer has lived in Huddersfield all his life.

His parents, Margaret Wheeler and the late Peter Spencer, lived at Fleet Street in Scissett when he was born at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary on June 24, 1984.

Peter Spencer was a builder who came originally from Holmfirth. Margaret now lives at Lidgett Lane in Skelmanthorpe.

James Spencer was a pupil at Shelley College until he left aged 16.

He played for Honley Band at the 2006 Honley Feast Fun Day and was pictured in the Examiner at the time, holding his tuba at the community event.
