'Quiet man' accused of murder

The incident has stunned members of the quiet community.

Neighbour Peter Brook said: “I’ve seen the lad about and he seemed pleasant enough, a bit quiet but polite.”

Mr Green, 65, was found dead at the property at 5.20am on Sunday.

The murder investigation is being carried out by a number of detectives from West Yorkshire Police’s Homicide And Major Enquiry Team.

The team is being led by Det Supt Tim Forber.
