Mama Mia! £6,000!

REVELLERS raised thousands of pounds for two music-based charities at a movie singalong.

The event was staged at the Rex Cinema, Elland, and raised £6,000 for Opera North and children’s charity NOEL.

Elland-based Design and Display Ltd organised the event as managing director Clive Lloyd sits on the boards of the two charities.

Mr Lloyd (pictured with his wife Virginia) said: “The Mamma Mia singalong was chosen because it demonstrates the enjoyment and fun that can be had from singing.’’

NOEL provides tuition to schools and choirs throughout West Yorkshire.
