Storm in a C-cup
A MARKET stall holder is involved in a row over when he can sell his underwear.
Father-of-three Waheed Muhammad sells packaged women’s underwear, some of which has been returned by customers from catalogues and factories.
But after six months of trading at the Monday and Thursday markets he has now received a letter saying his goods are seconds and he would be better trading on a Tuesday or Saturday at the second-hand markets.
And now he fears it could impact on his takings.
Mr Muhammad, who has lived with his family in Manchester for the past year after moving to the UK from Holland, said: “I’m very worried about this. I’m the only person responsible for feeding my children.
“I have been trading with no problems on Mondays and Thursdays in Huddersfield for six months.
“My goods are all new and people can take them out of the bags and look at them before they buy them for a cheap price.”
