Eight arrests over stabbing
EIGHT men have been arrested after a man was stabbed at his Edgerton home.
The victim, who has not been named, was attacked at his house in the leafy cul-de-sac Edgerton Green in a late night gang attack.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “We were called to reports of a disturbance at a house on Edgerton Green. Four men armed with what is believed to be a handgun and knives demanded cash from the occupants.
“A 53-year-old man suffered stab wounds to his chest and remains in a stable condition in hospital. “Two women suffered minor injuries. The suspects made away empty-handed.”
