START your Christmas shopping early at the National Coal Mining Museum’s winter gift fairs.

The museum near Flockton is hosting several gift fairs in the run up to the festive season. The first will be next weekend from 10am to 4pm. Entry is free and there will be a variety of crafts and gifts to choose from, including jewellery, cards, bags, toys and books.Cakes, Christmas food and decorations will also be on sale and there will also be craft demonstrations, painting displays, glass making and magic tricks from Marty Magic to keep the kids entertained.
