Cancer charity market attracts hundreds in Holmfirth

HUNDREDS of people showed their support for good causes when they visited this year’s Holmfirth Charity Market.
The event was held in the town’s market hall.
Stallholders from a variety of local charities took part, selling a range of goods, from antiques and collectables to toys and games.
The day, which is held twice a year, was organised by the Holmfirth Macmillan Cancer Support Committee.
The charities kept the profits they made from their stalls while all the rest of the proceeds, including admissions, went to Macmillan.
