Man dies in farm shop

A man’s body has been found at a farm shop off the A62 Leeds Road.

Police sealed off Mock Hall Farm between Cooper Bridge and Mirfield shortly after 1pm yesterday.

They discovered the body of an 80-year-old man inside.

Police sealed off the farm while a full investigation of the scene was carried out.

But they confirmed this morning that the death is not being treated assuspicious.

A West Yorkshire Police spokes- woman said: “Officers received a 999 call reporting concern for a man.

“Officers attended and found the body of a man deceased. His family has been made aware.

His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be submitted to the coroner.”
