Remembrance Sunday services

PROCESSIONS and services take place next Sunday as follows:

DENBY DALE - Service at Holy Trinity Methodist Church at 9.30am will be followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at the war memorial at 10.50 am.

DEWSBURY - A procession leaves the Town Hall at 10am for a service at Dewsbury Minster at 10.30am.

GOLCAR - At St John’s Church the Service of Remembrance is at 10am. At 11.15am the parade goes to the memorial in Jubilee Square with a wreath-laying and Last Post.

HOLMFIRTH - Holy Trinity Church’s service at 10.45am is followed by wreath-laying at the war memorial at midday.

HUDDERSFIELD - Procession leaves Victoria Lane at 10.30am for a 10.50am service at the Parish Church. There will then be a parade to Market Place, where the salute will be taken.

KIRKBURTON - The Parish Church service is at 10.30 am. Wreaths will be laid in the church and then at the war memorial.
