'Deaf and dumb' conwoman tricks way into pensioners' home

The victims became suspicious and called up to him, but he reappeared a few minutes later.

The tricksters then left and the victims found that an untidy search had been made of several rooms upstairs.

It is not clear at this stage what, if anything, was stolen.

The couple are both white and in their late teens or early 20s.

The man wore a black bomber jacket, black trousers and possibly spoke with an Irish accent. The woman wore a light-coloured jacket and trousers.
