Golfers raise cash for Kirkwood Hospice

GOLFERS have raised thousands of pounds for charity.

Around 30 staff from Bradford-based Klinger Ltd took part in a golf day for Kirkwood Hospice, in Dalton.

They raised £3,100 at Willow Valley Golf Club, near Brighouse.

Klinger Ltd makes sealing products for pipes and holds a golf day every year.

Spokeswoman Sue Bates said: “We’re celebrating our 20th anniversary this year, so we thought it would be good to help Kirkwood Hospice, which celebrated its 20 anniversary last year.”
