October’s results also show it was the coldest October since 2003, with an average temperature of only 10.99 deg C.
The warmest day was the 12th, when the temperature peaked at 20.4 deg C, while the coldest was the 28th when it plummeted to 0.2 deg C.
The wettest day was the 25th, with 25.4mm of rain – a quarter of the month’s total.
