THE school has recently bought digital cameras and camcorders. Now the extra cash windfall will mean they can buy more.

Acting headteacher Mrs Maureen Neill said: “The children love using the cameras. We use them to take photographs and footage of events in school and then the children download them on to computers to watch.

“They are great for learning and also to capture activities such as drama, PE and music so the children can look back and evaluate their work. They are now even making their own Powerpoints.”
