New appeal in Edgerton stabbing investigation

POLICE have made a fresh plea for information on a stabbing at a Huddersfield house which led to eight men being arrested.

A 53-year-old man was badly wounded when he was stabbed in his chest at his home in the leafy cul-de-sac of Edgerton Green in Edgerton.

He was attacked just before midnight on Tuesday, October 21, and two women at the house were also slightly hurt.

The injured man was in hospital for several days, but is now recovering at home.

Four men armed with a handgun and knives forced their way in to the house, demanding cash.
