Best-selling authors coming to Huddersfield

SEVERAL authors are visiting Huddersfield for book signings.

All will be at Waterstone’s in Kingsgate this month and early next.

From 1pm to 2pm on Friday next week Geoff Lee will be signing his books One Winter and One Autumn, tales of working class life, rock and roll and rugby league.

The day after that Yorkshire TV presenter Ian Clayton will be in the store from 2pm to 4pm. He will be signing copies of his best-seller Bringing It All Back Home, about a life driven by music, culture and storytelling.

Author and Illustrator Chris Mould will be in the store from 11am to 1pm on the Sunday, signing copies of his new book Tombstone Rally. He will be drawing wickedly weird characters from his books.

Yorkshire TV weatherman Jon Mitchell will be there at 11am on Thursday, November 27, to sign copies of his new book, Bright and Breezy: YTV In All Weathers.

From 1pm to 2pm on Saturday, November 29, former professional rugby league player Peter Fox, who played for Featherstone Rovers, Batley, Hull KR and Wakefield Trinity before he became a coach, will be signing copies of his biography.

Jill Hopkins, author of Nidae’s Promise, will be in the store at 1.30pm on December 6.
