Coroner issues warrant for man who injected fatal heroin overdose

AN inquest on a heroin user was adjourned yesterday as a coroner issued an arrest warrant for the man who injected her.

Laura Harrison, 26, of Prospect Road, Heckmondwike, died from a heroin overdose in August 2007.

Miss Harrison died after being injected by Tony Kershaw at a home at Windsor Road, Howden Clough, the inquest heard.

Kershaw, 32, who had been living in north Kirklees, was arrested shortly afterwards, but charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence.
