Fireworks and disco raise cash for school

A FIREWORK and supper event has raised funds for a Huddersfield school.

Huddersfield Lions Club put on their annual firework display for pupils at Castle Hill School at Newsome.

They also held a supper party.

Proceeds from the food on sale were donated to the school, which caters for pupils with severe learning difficulties and disabilities.
