Shop raider wore fishnet stocking on head

A ROBBER used an unusual disguise to try to shield his face – a fishnet stocking.

The thief had pulled the stocking over his head then put on a baseball cap before walking into Willow Bank Stores on Cinderhills Road, Holmfirth, at 7.35pm last night.

But that’s where the comedy ended as he threatened the lone shop assistant with a sharpened iron bar.

He ordered her to put cash in a white cloth bag.

The raider then fled with the cash and may have got into a dark-coloured car outside.
