Long sentence for driver who killed dad and son on M62

Mr Proctor, 47, and his son James, 16, from Wakefield, died in hospital following the collision in the early hours of August 3 as they travelled to Manchester Airport. Mr Proctor’s wife Catherine, 44, survived the crash near Birch Services, at junction 18, but needed treatment for serious rib and arm injuries.
The family were heading to Manchester Airport to start their dream holiday to Florida.
Hussain was remanded in custody until December 8 when sentencing will take place at Manchester Crown Court.
