THERE is rarely any excuse to carry a knife on the streets.

London has seen many high-profile murders in recent months and, thankfully, it is not a problem here.

But it’s vital that youngsters know the law.

We will not tolerate them carrying knives or any other offensive weapons in Kirklees.

Some knives are banned and classed as offensive weapons.
