Little Alfie’s star of his own show!

LITTLE Alfie is like any other mischievous and cheeky toddler.
But the three-year-old has a life-threatening liver disorder which affects his day to day life.
At nine days old he was diagnosed with biliary atresia, a condition which could have led to liver failure if it had not been diagnosed.
At three weeks old Alfie battled through a six-hour operation and he may need a liver transplant in the future.
Now his family and friends are holding a musical charity event in Holmfirth in aid of the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, which supports families of children and babies with such diseases.
They want to raise awareness of the number of children born with liver problems and to support the charity, which helps many toddlers like Alfie.
