Migraine Action at town hall
Nov 21 2008 by Emma Davison, Huddersfield Daily Examiner
AN EVENT aimed at helping migraine sufferers is to be held at Huddersfield Town Hall.
The fundraising and information day on November 25 is in aid of Migraine Action, a national charity that offers support and advice to thousands of sufferers.
One in eight people are affected by migraine.
The event aims to raise much-needed funds to help the charity develop its services. These include a telephone helpline, a hard-to-reach sufferers project, support for sufferers in the workplace and funding research into the cause and treatment of migraine.
A range of organisations will hold stalls at the event, which takes place in the reception room from 11am to 3pm.
Admission is free.
