Couple injured in M62 crash drama

A COUPLE were cut free from their wrecked car after a crash drama on the M62.

Their small hatchback careered off the exit sliproad on the westbound carriageway at junction 25 near Brighouse at 11.15pm last night.

It then hit a lamp-post with such force it flattened it before flipping on to its side and sliding down the road.

Crew Manager Dean Lodge from Huddersfield fire station said: “The couple were still strapped in their car when we arrived.
