Dad who 'steamrollered' teachers handed Asbo

Mr Charles Ainley, defending, said his client had never been arrested or been to court before.

He said: “There was trouble in the school with regard, he would perceive, to his son being bullied and it was borne out of frustration.”

Mr Ainley said Edmund accepted the Asbo despite contesting some of the facts.

He added: “He simply wants to draw a line under this.”

District judge Garland told Edmund he was banned from acting in a way that could cause alarm, harassment or distress to other people, or encouraging other people to act in such a way anywhere in Kirklees.

He could face five years in jail if he breaches the Asbo.
