Burning car rolls away

A BURNING car careered down a steep road after it was set alight by arsonists.
The small Vauxhall Tigra hatchback was attacked at 10pm last night.
Firefighters think the fire burned through the handbrake cable, causing the blazing car to roll around 150ft down the road before smashing into a fence and small wall.
Crew Manager Andy Wood said: “It was lucky the car was parked on the right hand side of the road and then rolled straight down.
“If it had been on the left it would have hit three or four parked cars.”
