All Saints: All quiet - still no answers five months on

None of the details about these worries have been revealed, but the Examiner understands that any teachers who are suspended remain on full pay until an inquiry ends.

Parents and staff at the college have contacted the Examiner asking how the inquiry is progressing.

John Fowler, head teacher at Shelley College, has taken over at the 800-pupil school for the foreseeable future.

He said the school “could not” rather than “would not” comment on the inquiry and all matters were being dealt with by Kirklees.

Leeds Catholic diocese spokesman John Grady has said the heads have been suspended pending the outcome of an inquiry “conducted into issues at the school”.
