Ben’s charity video aims for the Top 10!

A HUDDERSFIELD film-maker has produced a music video which aims to propel a charity single into the UK Top 10.

Ben Sweet, 30, has directed a music video for the single Never Say Goodbye, which has been recorded to raise awareness of the Action Duchenne charity.

The charity helps sufferers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and pays for research into the muscle-wasting disease, which leads to paralysis and limited life expectancy.

Most of the 40,000 sufferers worldwide are boys, who usually end up in wheelchairs by the age of 10 and need full-time care by their teens.

Most do not survive past this age.

The music video and single were inspired by one young sufferer, five-year-old Edward Ackroyd.
