£10,000 collected in memory of Chelsea
Prizes up for grabs included signed Huddersfield Town and Giants shirts, signed Manchester United and Bradford City shirts and electrical goods and cash.
Leigh, dressed in Chelsea’s wig, said: “My wife decided we were to dress up as women and surprisingly half of my friends never complained!
“Chelsea would have thought this was hilarious. I think she’d be amazed rather than embarrassed.
“I couldn’t have done this without a massive amount help from my friends.”
Leigh expressed thanks to ex-Town player Rob Edwards, Jason Peter and David Mahar from 247 Blinds, Lockwood Road, and Liverpool FC.
