A TEENAGER was due in court today after a man was critically hurt in an attack at Golcar.
The 19-year-old has been accused of wounding and was due before magistrates.
He was detained after a 25-year-old Birchencliffe man suffered serious head injuries in an incident outside the Co-op on Town End in Golcar at 1.30am on Sunday.
The injured man – who has not been named – was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and then transferred to a specialist unit at Leeds due to the nature of his injuries.
